Inventors are a crazy bunch, they fiddle with there screws, bolts, electricity and chemicals to make something that wasn't there before, Electronica artists are just like that in my opinion. Using ideas in our brains of inventors past to say: all right but what if…?

Akida & Jolynn are an electronica duo from the US that invents, challenges and pushes boundaries that you may have or have not seen with an ease that is fascinating, There debut album: Kill the man with the ball (2001) is there starting point with influences from electro, Nu Wave, IDM, drum & bass, hip-hop, house & reggae. From then on their tracklists and fanbase grew insanely with one other full-length release called Interchangeable Interface (2003) and their upcoming release Afr/uit/ure (TBA). With shows in Miami, San Francisco and New York the two took over the electronica scene in the US by storm and they are not ready with inventing: Making new genres in the process such as ghettoglitch and minimalist punk. With Akida on the production and Jolynn on the keys, vocals and lyrics, expect inventions and adaptations like you haven't heard before.
